Dr. Cole Hirschfeld specializes in preventive cardiology and vascular diseases. He earned his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his high academic achievement. Dr. Hirschfeld completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia/New York Presbyterian Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital.

During his training, Dr. Hirschfeld was also extensively involved in cardiovascular research, with a particular focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cardiovascular imaging around the world. His work has been published in leading medical journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Hirschfeld holds the title of Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and has privileges at NYP/Weill Cornell and the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS). He is board certified in general cardiology and internal medicine, in addition to several advanced imaging modalities, including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiac imaging.


Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hirschfeld is dedicated to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, enjoying exercise, fitness, and spending quality time with his family.
